Dual Training Grant
We help Minnesota manufacturers strengthen their workforce through the Dual Training Grant, which combines hands-on, on-the-job training with formal education and instruction.
We work with employers to help them identify training needs, connect employees with related instruction, and navigate opportunities to support workforce development.Through the grant, employers can receive funding for eligible training costs such as tuition, fees, books, materials, and certain trainee support expenses.
This approach helps employees gain valuable workplace experience while earning an industry-recognized degree, certificate, or credential, giving employers the skilled workforce they need to grow and succeed.
Apprenticeship Grant
We can help you build and implement your apprenticeship program by providing the structure, resources, and coordination you may not have access to internally. We will assist with program development, training plans, education partnerships, documentation, and ongoing technical support, allowing you to focus on developing your workforce.
Together, we can create a consistent and sustainable apprenticeship model while reducing the administrative burden on your business. This collaborative approach helps you develop skilled workers, provides apprentices with meaningful career opportunities, and strengthens the local workforce.

Drive for 5 Grant
Through Drive for 5, we help manufacturers build stronger workforces by connecting employers with skilled workers, training opportunities, and workforce resources.
We work with manufacturers to identify workforce needs, connect employees with training that can help them advance, and create pathways for job seekers to enter manufacturing careers. Through our regional manufacturing affiliates and workforce partners, we support job placement, employee training, recruitment, and retention while helping employers access resources that can reduce barriers to workforce development.
Our goal is to help manufacturers find and retain talent while creating opportunities for individuals to build skills and advance in high-demand manufacturing careers.
