Tour of Mfg

The 2023 Tour of Manufacturing will take place in the Arrowhead and Iron Range region during Minnesota Manufacturing Month. Students from nine schools will attend three tours in their area.  Shout out to the 11 companies that are hosting tours on the dates below!

Our goal is to educate potential employees about careers in manufacturing. Our hope is to encourages parents, students, teachers, nonprofits, and job seekers to understand the career pathways available to them in manufacturing.

 

Thursday, October 26

Schools: Floodwood Public School, Northland High School, Mountain Iron-Buhl Public School, and Nashwauk-Keewatin High School

Tours: Trison Electronic Design & Manufacturing in Duluth, Hibbing Fabricators in Hibbing, Minnesota Twist Drill in Chisholm, and Heliene in Mountain Iron, MN

 

Friday, October 27

Schools: Greenway Public School, Grand Rapids High School, and Hill City School

Tours:  ASV/Yanmar in Grand Rapids, Zakobe in Bovey, Swan Machine in Grand Rapids, and The Forge in Grand Rapids

 

Schools: North Woods School and Rock Ridge Public School

Tours: Heliene in Mountain Iron, Komatsu Mining in Virginia, and Hancock Fabrication in Angora
